We love pie, we just don’t enjoy all the time it takes to make one. If you love to bake, you know most recipes don’t make enough for just one or two. You bake one day and then you eat for 10 and that’s just not good for your waistline, or your neighbours, who get the run off of your delicacies. But we’ve just come across the coolest bake ware since, well, ever—the individual pie slice pan.
This nifty bake ware allows you to make just a single piece of peach cobbler, apple crisp, chicken potpie, or whatever your little heart craves. They come in sets of two, so splurge for three sets and you’ve got enough to make a whole pie when you have guests and avoid the messiness of cutting. They’re individual so you will also be keeping portions under control (each one holds only two-thirds of a cup).

It’s official. We’re in love and this time it’s serious. Sexy, stylish and oh-so-smart, it’s everything we’ve every asked for. The new Blackberry Bold smartphone has everything we need plus some things we didn’t even know we wanted. If we were the jealous type, we’d be a little concerned with all the attention it has been getting. It’s brilliant eye-catching display attracts the eye of anyone who walks by and delivers clarity and colour that exceeds our expectations. It has everything we’ve already come to expect with past loves, but the Bold takes it to the next level. You’ll never miss a call again, even if you’re sending email or browsing the net. It navigates sites, zooms in on content and sets bookmarks from just about anywhere. It’s faster and powerful too. Mobile streaming, media sync, faster downloads and full-screen pages enhance the overall package.

Sometimes the best ideas are born from something as simple as a piece of rope. Such is true for Anna Conway and her little dog Chauncey. When on a visit to Massachusetts with her adopted pup, Conway found herself without a leash. Luckily, a local fisherman, who just happens to be her brother-in-law, whipped up a simple but effective nautical rope leash for her.
After receiving many compliments, Conway created Found Leashes. Fastened using custom-made rope that is whipped and spliced (old nautical terms), these leashes can withstand thousands of pounds of puppy pull and are enhanced with marine-grade, solid brass clips. To raise awareness about stray animals, Conway has added individually numbered bronze “found” tags to each leash with proceeds going to help strays. Stay tuned for new Found collars, launching later this month.
See, good deeds are rewarded.

Daddy’s girl. Actress. Material girl. Madonna can easily be classified as one of the greatest influences of our time, and her continuous reinvention can be traced back to her childhood. Her brother, Christopher Ciccone, the one person she kept close after fleeing her hometown for stardom, tells the story of Madonna’s life through his eyes in “Life With My Sister Madonna.”
In Ciccone’s book, he depicts the battles, the fights, the successes and the struggles that made Madonna who she is today. From their shared Michigan upbringing, losing their mother at a young age and dancing at the clubs in Manhattan in the early 80s, to her first world tour, her marriage to Sean Penn, the birth of her children and her marriage to Guy Ritchie, Ciccone tells the story in a way that only a brother can.
