The first national park of Canada created in 1885, Alberta’s park is one of the most-visited parks of the country. From seeing elk and bears frolic within the small town’s city limits to its eye-catching setting in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, Banff National Park offers an unforgettable view of Canada’s west. The historic Banff Springs Hotel, opened in 1888 in the park, has welcomed monarchs, politicians and most famously, Marilyn Monroe in 1954.
