Why Our Editor LOVES The Oral-B ProfessionalCare 3000

Do you like your teeth to feel clean? I guess that’s kind of a silly question. I have a bit of an oral care “challenge”…I REALLY like my teeth to feel clean super-clean and smooth, so much so, that I brush them WAY. TOO. HARD.

In my mind, I understand that brushing hard doesn’t equal clean teeth, but I can’t seem to stop. And due to my bad habit, I have made my gums recede. Not good.

Last week we talked about why you might want to switch over to an electric toothbrush; I was not really sold on the idea, but felt that it was time for me to make an oral care change. The peeps at Oral-B Canada kindly sent along their Oral-B ProfessionalCare 3000 toothbrush for me to test drive, and I’ve been using it for over a week now.

Yes, I love my new electric toothbrush. And I love how easy it is to get clean, smooth teeth. My favourite feature has to be the Hard Brushing Alert light that indicates when you are brushing too hard. The alert light was going off A LOT when I first starting using it, but now, quite infrequently. And this toothbrush provides an insane amount of pulsations–40,000 to be exact–and 8,800 oscillations per minute which helps remove up to two times more plaque than my regular toothbrush, helping to prevent and reverse gingivitis.

Do you brush your teeth too hard? Have you tried one of the Oral-B electric toothbrushes? We want to hear from you!

(And, if you’d like your own electric toothbrush, keep your eyes fixed to our site. That’s all I’m saying 🙂 )
