Don’t you find that the second it starts raining everyone around you whips out black umbrellas and you are lost in a sea of darkness? Friends, black umbrellas are so yesteryear. Take a cue from TRAY 6 design lab when you shop for your rain gear and opt for an umbrella that’s a tad more interesting.
TRAY 6 umbrellas are as fashionable as they come; with cute, vintage inspired handles and designs and patterns that will strike anyone’s fancy. The nature lover can indulge in the grass umbrella (in realistic green or psychedelic twilight blue), while the girly girl can brave the storm in style with the wine-coloured blossom, the bloom, or the bird inspired perch. In fact, if you really wanted, you could indulge in a collection of TRAY 6’s styles for every rainy day mood you may encounter.
But take it from us — as long as you’re toting one of these around town you are sure to feel sunny.

You’ve said yes to the dress, heck, you’ve even said yes to the proposal, all you have left to do is find sexy, sophisticated lingerie for the final act.
Agent Provocateur provides brides-to-be with an array of under-the-dress and wedding night options. The Bridal Collection 2008 features corsets in cream and panties in blue, but our favourite look is the Marie – a bra and panty set in white. Eyelets and ruffles make the look soft and feminine but it’s sexy enough to knock the dress socks off your new hubby.
This lingerie will add a little something extra to an already special day.

Our cool and trendy college friend, who when asked to purchase gin and didn’t know what brand to buy, decided to choose based on the look of the bottle. She eliminated brands if they looked too traditional, or weren’t pretty. In the end she had to decide between the brilliant blue of Bombay Sapphire and the elegance of Tanqueray, with its classic green bottle. Her deliberations were highly unscientific, but that’s not really a bad way to choose a gin!
The Brits, who are the purveyors of many leading brands of gin including classics like Beefeater, Gordon’s and Plymouth Gin, quickly adopted this Dutch custom. The newer kid on the block, Hendrick’s Gin, is infused with cucumber and ro
se extracts and is Scottish. It is handcrafted in small batches and encased in a sexy black bottle, which proclaims on its label to be “Not for Everyone.” Definitely a lure for many girls – a challenge!
But for a summer go-to drink, gin is the perfect choice. Whether it’s a gin and tonic, a traditional gin martini or for those who like a little sweet, the Ramos gin fizz (a favourite of the ladies of New Orleans), gin is the perfect way to end the workday and welcome the weekend.
